SinGlass (Bioglass 45S5)
SinGlass: Bioglass 45S5 that stimulates bone repair with proven effectiveness.
The interaction between SinGlass and the organism activates several reactions that are a property of 45S5 bioglass, such as the immediate release of ions, increase in pH and osmotic pressure of the medium (these reactions have antibacterial action proven by in vitro studies). After this process, biomineralization and formation of a hydroxyapatite layer occurs. At the end of the process, a new fully reintegrated bone tissue is formed.
Features
The interaction between SinGlass and the organism activates a cascade of reactions:
- Immediate release of ions;
- Increase in the pH;
- Increased osmotic pressure.
These reactions lead to an antibacterial* effect.
